A Collaboration with Lantern and Lotus

A Shared Flame brings together young musicians for an afternoon of music spanning centuries, cultures and musical traditions.

Tiger Han performs alongside fellow young musicians in a diverse program featuring works by Bach, Beethoven and Ravel, traditional folk songs, and contemporary music by living composers. Through contrasting styles and voices, the concert explores the many ways music can connect us across time and culture.

Presented by Sounds of Young Hearts in collaboration with Lantern and Lotus, the concert is also an opportunity to turn music into meaningful action. Proceeds will support Lantern and Lotus and its work supporting girls’ education in rural China, helping create greater opportunities for young women through access to education.

For Tiger and the other young musicians, A Shared Flame is more than a performance. It is an opportunity to share music, connect with others, and contribute to something beyond the stage.
