1. Moment

Training starts at 5:00 am. It’s still dark, and no one feels fully awake.

There’s no excitement. No energy. Just routine.

The boat goes out. The work starts.

2. Realisation - Discipline

No one finds it easy to get up that early.

But training isn’t driven by how you feel. It’s driven by discipline and a sense of responsibility to improve.

3. Principle

Consistency comes from structure, not motivation.

4. Application to Music

In music, it’s easy to wait until you feel ready.

But real progress comes from:

  • showing up regularly

  • working without relying on mood

  • repeating even when it feels routine

If practice depends on how you feel, it won’t last.

Train like a rower. Perform like an artist.
